Today I am sharing a sweet welcome baby card made for a new member of the family – Amelia Jane who arrived in January and is adorable. I have used the sweet Welcome Easter stamp set to make today’s card.
To recreate the Welcome Baby card you will need
Thick Whisper White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
2019 – 2021 In Color dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Whisper White – 3¼” by 2½”
Scrap Whisper White
I began by adhering the dsp to the front of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The adorable little lamb was stamped on the left hand side of the small Whisper White panel using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The sentiment was stamped to the right of the lamb in Rococo Rose ink
The lamb’s nose and bow were coloured in using the Rococo Rose combo Blends Markers then I outlined the lamb using the light Soft Sea Foam Blends Marker and faded out the harsh lines by using the Color Lifter.
I die cut the lacy edgelit from the Arts and Crafts dies from scrap Whisper White card and adhered the strips to the stamped panel with the same liquid adhesive. The ends were trimmed off and the panel was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.
To complete the sweet card I coloured in 3 Basic Pearls using the dark Rococo Rose Blends Marker and added them to the card front.
Such a simple but pretty card. I hope you like it
