Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we have been creating projects inspired by a colour challenge. I have used the Changing Leaves stamp set to make a vibrant leaves card.
Colour used in this project are:
To recreate vibrant leaves card, you will need:
Daffodil Delight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Blueberry Bushel card – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Blueberry Bushel card
The maple leaf was stamped in Daffodil Delight ink in the upper left and lower right corners of the Daffodil Delight card front.
The same image was randomly stamped over the 4¾” by 3” piece of Basic White card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I used the following Blends Pens to colour the leaves in – Dark Fresh Freesia, Light Flirty Flamingo, Light Daffodil Delight, Light Shy Shamrock and Light Blueberry Bushel.
The coloured panel was then adhered to the Blueberry Bushel layer. A length of White Baker’s Twine was then wrapped around the layer before it was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from the Latte Love stamp set, was stamped in Versamark ink onto scrap Blueberry Bushel, covered with White Embossing Powder and set using a Heat Tool. I trimmed it down with Scissors and added it to the card front.
A Twine bow and a trio of Tinsel Gems – 4 pack finished the card.
Please hop on to see what my crafty friends have made using these gorgeous colours.
