Here is a clean and simple umbrella weather card made using the Rain & Shine dsp and minimal supplies and a bit of fussy cutting.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the umbrella weather card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Rain or Shine dsp – 5⅞” by 2 “
Scrap Rain or Shine dsp
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the strip of Rain or Shine designer series paper (dsp) to the Thick Basic White card front.
I fussy cut a number of open umbrellas from the same dsp using sharp scissors. I am not generally a fan of fussy cut but these were so easy to cut out and they look so good.
The same liquid adhesive was used to glue the umbrellas into position on the front of the card.
The sentiment from the co-ordinating Playing in the Rain stamp set, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the lower right corner of the card base.
A trio of Iridescent Rhinestones completes the card.
