Twisted Rope card – Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using Embossing Folders.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the twisted rope card, you will need:

Blueberry Bushel card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Full of Life dsp – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

I embossed the panel of Full of Life dsp using my Cut & Emboss Machine and the Speciality Plate.

The embossed panel was placed face up on my work top and the Whisper White ink pad was rubbed backwards and forwards across the top of the embossing. I did this a couple of times and then set it aside to dry.

The inked embossed panel was then adhered to the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card, this was then added to the Blueberry Bushel card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Countryside Flowers stamp set, was stamped on scrap Basic White card using Blueberry Bushel ink. I used the Greetings of the Season Dies to cut out the sentiment. The die cut label was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.
