Tree & Flowers card – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing a project we have been working on. I have been using the Frosted Forest stamp set and Frosted Forest Masks to make a lovely tree & flowers thank you card.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the tree & flowers card, you will need:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Garden Meadows dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5” by 4”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

The piece of Meandering Meadows dsp was glued to the largest panel of Basic White card and then to the Balmy Blue card front.

The large tree image was stamped in Pecan Pie ink onto the 5” by 4” panel of Basic White card. The image was then die cut using the Perennial Postage Dies.

I placed Mask 1 over the stamped tree and added Pecan Pie ink to the trunk and branches of the tree. Mask 2 was next and I added Granny Apple Green ink to the tree canopy and finally Mask 3 and Garden Green ink.

Using the ‘ground’ image from the Garden Meadow stamp set, I stamped under the tree. I also added the small group of flowers. The flowers were coloured with the Flirty Flamingo Blends Pens. The whole piece was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Pecan Pie ink onto scrap Basic White card. I trimmed it out and added it to the card front.
