I have been playing with the gorgeous new Cup of Tea stamp set and Teacup Bundle and had made a sweet tea and flowers card.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the tea and flowers card, you will need:
Parakeet Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper right corner
2022 – 2024 In Color dsp – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Sweet Sorbet card – 3½” by 2⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 3⅜” by 2½” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Scrap Basic White card
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the designer series paper (dsp) to the larger Basic White panel and used the same glue to add the panel to the Parakeet Party card base.
The striped cup was stamped in Orchid Oasis ink onto the smallest Basic White panel. I added the foliage with Parakeet Party ink and the flowers in Sweet Sorbet ink.
The stamped layer was added to the Sweet Sorbet panel with liquid glue. Actually, in the UK we haven’t been able to get hold of Sweet Sorbet cardstock so, as a work around I coloured the edge of the smallest Basic White panel with a Sweet Sorbet Blends Pen. The panel was added to the card base on Dimensionals.
I stamped the little tag in Parakeet Party ink onto scrap Basic White card and added the sentiment in Sweet Sorbet ink. A couple of the larger flowers were stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink. I used the Teacup Dies to cut out these pieces.
The die cut pieces were added to the card front and a trio of 2022 – 2024 In Colour Matte Dots completed the card.
Such a sweet card, I love it.
