Hello and welcome to this months Stamper’s Showcase blog hop where our theme is Winter Wonderland and I have chosen to use the gorgeous Winter Woods stamp set. If you have joined me from……. then welcome, My name is Mo Rootes and I live near Cambridge in the UK..
To recreate the Winter Wonderland card you will need:
Thick Whisper White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Shaded Spruce 4⅛” by ½” x 2
Whisper White cardstock 4⅛” by 3⅛”
Scrap Real Red, Balmy Blue and Shaded Spruce cardstock
I stamped the gorgeous pine tree in Shaded Spruce ink onto the Whisper White panel and added the ‘ground’ in 2nd and 3rd generation Early Espresso ink.
Taking a 1¼” Circle Punch I punched a circle from a PostIt Note and laid it onto the stamped panel half covering the top of the tree.
Taking a sponge I swirled on Balmy Blue ink before removing the PostIt Note circle. I added the 2 strips of Shaded Spruce cardstock either side of the stamped panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
I stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink onto the Thick Whisper White cardstock, the stamped panel was added to the card front on Dimensionals. I tucked small pieces of Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Balmy Blue behind the raised panel.
I scribbled over the tree with Fine Tip Glue and added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. So sparkly…….
I stamped the tree in Shaded Spruce inside the card and on the envelope.
I hop you like the card. Please hop on to see what Marita Dreissen has to share with us.
