The gloves, from the Celebrate with Tags stamp set which is sadly retired, were stamped on the scrap Basic White card. For one card I used Poppy Parade, Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Real Red. For the second card I used Granny Apple Green, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia and Lost Lagoon. All of the gloves were fussy cut using sharp scissors.

A pretty Winter themed card made for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop using the Wisteria Wishes stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Pine Trees for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where we are sharing Holiday themed cards. Mine was made using the gorgeous Wisteria Wishes stamps set and some ink blending.

The colours used in this project are:

To recreate the pine trees card, you will need:

Shaded Spruce card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Pool Party card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White and Shaded Spruce

I tore a piece of copy paper from side to side to give some hills and hollows. I placed the copy paper on to the smaller panel of Basic White and used a Blending Brush to add ink along the edge.

The pine trees – actually the wisteria blossoms, were then stamped whilst the copy paper was still in place. I moved the copy paper and repeated the steps multiple times to cover the panel. The effect is of trees in banks of snow.

The stamped panel was then added to the Pool Party layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I wrapped a length of Pool Party Sheer Ribbon around the panel securing it on the reverse with Sellotape. The panel was added to the Shaded Spruce card front on Dimensionals.

Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner x 2 – one for the inside
