Hello and welcome to the Colour Combo Blog Hop where I have made a turtle themed birthday card using the colours
To recreate the turtle birthday card, you will need:
Soft Sea Foam card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Bermuda Bay card – 4⅝” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4½” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – ⅜” strip
Using Soft Sea Foam ink, I stamped the seaweed image along the bottom of the Soft Sea Foam card front.
I added Balmy Blue ink to the small panel of Basic White using a Blending Brush.
The seaweed was stamped along the bottom of the inked panel in Soft Sea Foam ink. The turtles were stamped in Bermuda Bay ink. I added the groups of fish in both Balmy Blue and Bermuda Bay ink. The bubbles were stamped in 1st & 2nd generation Balmy Blue ink.
The stamped panel was glued to the left-hand side of the Bermuda Bay panel. Using one of the Basic Borders Dies I die cut the right edge of the panel. A strip of Basic White card was added to the die cut edge. The whole panel was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set was stamped on the ⅜” strip of Basic White card in Bermuda Bay ink.
I added a trio of Iridescent Rhinestones to complete the card. I hope you like it.
