Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I have chosen to make a watercolor blessings card using my Watercolor Pencils and Water Painters.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the water color blessings card, you will need:
Gorgeous Grape card base – 7½” by 5¾” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅛”
Wonderful World dsp – 5½” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 4”
Wonderful World dsp – 5⅝” by 1”
Basic White card – 3 ½” by 3 ½”
Basic White card – 3⅛” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – ½” strip
I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to adhere the 5½” by 3” panel of dsp to the 5⅝” by 3⅛” piece of Basic White card. The panel was then glued to the smaller front panel of the Gorgeous Grape card front.
The larger panel of Basic White card was adhered to the inside of the card and the 1” strip of dsp added to the right-hand side.
I die cut a stitched circle from the smaller square of Basic White card using the Stylish Shapes Dies.
The large image from the Blessing From Home was stamp set onto the stitched circle in Basic Gray ink and used Water Color Pencils and Water Painters to colour it in. I mounted the coloured circle on a slightly larger circle cut from the larger square. It was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped onto the Basic White strip in Gorgeous Grape ink, I masked off the words I didn’t want. I trimmed down the strip and added the sentiment to the card front on a Dimensional.
A trio of Glossy Dots completed the card.
Please continue around the hop sharing the inspirations provided by my friends.
