Hello and welcome to the Colour Combo Blog Hop where I have used the Vintage Christmas stamp set to make a masculine vintage bottle birthday card using the colours we were given
To recreate the vintage bottle card, you will need:
Starry Sky card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Pumpkin Pie card – 4½” by 3⅛” Basic White card – 4¾” by 3¼” Basic White card – 5½” by 1” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Scrap Basic White card
I die cut a deckled rectangle from the 4¾” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card using the Deckled Rectangle Dies.
I stamped both the large and small bottles onto Post It Notes and cut them out to act as masks.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – A striking masculine vintage bottles card made using the Vintage Christmas stamp set for the Colour Combo Blog Hop
The smaller squat bottle was stamped onto the Deckled Rectangle in Pumpkin Pie ink. I placed a mask over the top and stamped the larger bottle in Starry Sky and Old Olive, one each side of the squat bottle.

I repeated the stamping and masking until my row of bottles was complete. I then used a Blending Brush to apply Starry Sky ink around the edges of the deckled rectangle. The whole piece was then glued to the Pumpkin Pie layer.

Using sharp Scissors, I flagged both ends of the strip of Basic White card and added the strip to the centre of the Starry Sky card base. The stamped panel was then mounted over the top on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Sending Smiles stamp set was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink on to scrap Basic White card. It was trimmed out using scissors and added to the card front. A trio of Champagne Rhinestones complete the card.

To recreate the trio of Christmas trees card, you will need:
Shaded Spruce card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Parakeet Party card – 5⅝” by 3⅞ Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside Shaded Spruce card – 3⅛” by 3⅛” Parakeet Party card – 3” by 3” Basic White card – 3⅛” by 3⅛” Scrap Basic White card
Using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder, I embossed one of the larger Basic White panels and adhered it to the larger Parakeet Party layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I wrapped a piece of Parakeet Party Metallic Woven Ribbon around the panel, securing it on the reverse with Sellotape. The panel was glued to the Shaded Spruce card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the solid image for the largest tree in Parakeet Party ink onto the Square of Basic White card. I repeated it twice more. I added the detailed image on top using Shaded Spruce ink.

The stamped panel was then die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies, I love the stitched edge this gives.

I adhered the die cut square to the Parakeet Party square then to the Shaded Spruce square and mounted it onto the card front straddling the ribbon using Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Vintage Christmas stamp set was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink onto the scrap Basic White card. It was die cut using the Layering Circle Dies. It was added to the card front on a Dimensional.

I used a Shaded Spruce Blends Pen to colour in a trio of Basic Rhinestones and added them to the card base. I also added a bow made using the same ribbon on a Mini Glue Dot.
Pretty card, I hope you like it.

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we have been given a colour challenge. I have chosen to use one of the sets I pre-ordered from the July – December Mini Catalogue called Vintage Christmas. I do love a set that co-ordinates with something I already have and this set pairs with the Vintage Bottle Punch.
To recreate the Vintage Bottle card, you will need:
Melon Mambo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Starry Sky card – 3¾” by 2⅜” Basic White card – 4” by 2¾” Basic White card – 1½” by 1½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Scrap Basic White card
I began by stamping the taller bottle with Starry Sky ink onto scrap Basic White card and punching it out using the Vintage Bottle Punch.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Vintage Christmas stamp set used to make a pretty floral card for the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop
Using Tahitian Tide ink, I stamped the smaller bottle onto the 4” by 2¾” panel of Basic White card. I placed the punched bottle overlapping the stamped bottle, for placement and stamped the trio of flowers in Melon Mambo ink.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Vintage Christmas stamp set used to make a pretty floral card for the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop
Using Parakeet Party ink, I stamped the single sprig around the flowers. I deliberately didn’t ink up the berries at the base of the sprig. The flower centres were added using the same ink. The tall bottle was then glued to the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The whole panel was then die cut using a Stitched Rectangle Die. The stitched rectangle was then glued to the Starry Sky panel.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Vintage Christmas stamp set used to make a pretty floral card for the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop
Using the trio of flowers, I stamped in the upper left and lower right corners of the Melon Mambo card base using Melon Mambo ink. At this point I decided I needed more white in the background so I cut the 1½” square of Basic White card on the diagonal and added one triangle to the upper left corner and the other to the lower right corner of the stamped panel.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Vintage Christmas stamp set used to make a pretty floral card for the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop
The stamped piece was then added to the card front on Dimensionals. The sentiment, from the Cup of Tea stamp set was inked up in Starry Sky ink and stamped onto scrap Basic White card. I then trimmed it out, flagging the ends before I added it to the card front.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Vintage Christmas stamp set used to make a pretty floral card for the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop
A bow made from the In Color Twine and a trio of Glossy Dots completed the card.
I hope you like it. Please continue to hop along to share the inspiration provided by my stamping friends.
