Stripy Meadow for the Kylie Bertucci Demonstrator Training Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Kyie Bertucci Demonstrator Training Blog Hop. I am sending out a stripy meadow make and take card, using the Meadow Dies, to my customers this month and am sharing the card with you today.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the stripy meadow card, you will need:

Thick Basic White – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White – 3½” by 3”
Pool Party, Daffodil Delight & Granny Apple Green strips – 4⅛” by ⅜ – 9 strips in total
Scrap Basic Black

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I added the strips of coloured card stock to the front of the Thick Whisper White card base.

I die cut a circle from the small panel of Basic White card using the Layering Circle Dies. This was added to the card front with Dimensionals.

Using the Meadow Dies I cut one of the pretty flowers from the scrap Basic Black card. I trimmed down the stem and tucked it inside the die cut circle. It was adhered with liquid glue.

Using Granny Apple Green ink, I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set. My customers will use a sentiment from their own stash.

Playful Valentine card

Today I am sharing the card I made my husband for Valentine’s Day using the Playful Alphabet dies, Window Sheet and strips of card. This card was inspired by a Youtube video by fellow demonstrator Angie of Stamping With Amore.

Colours used in today’s project are:

To recreate the Playful Valentine card. You will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Window Sheet – 4⅛” by 2¼”
Misty Moonlight – 4⅛” by ⅜”
Panels of Misty Moonlight, So Saffron, Pacific Point, Old Olive & Balmy Blue 2½” wide
Scrap Basic White

Taking the 2½” wide strips of card stock I cut them down into thin strips, wider at one end than the other.

I added strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive down the length of each strip and added them to the Window Sheet panel leaving a small gap between each strip. I trimmed off the excess using sharp scissors.

Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals were then added to the Window Sheet behind the card stock strips, so they would be hidden and the whole panel adhered to the card front.

Taking the scrap Basic White and the Playful Alphabet Dies I cut out letters LOVE three times. The letters were then stacked on top of each other with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive before being added to the card front.

I inked the word YOU from the Well Said stamp set in Versamark ink and stamped it onto the long strip of Misty Moonlight. The sentiment was then covered with White Embossing Powder and heat setting it with my Heat Tool.
