Today I am sharing a pretty Tulip Easter card made using the Timeless Tulips stamp set and Tulip Builder Punch.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the tulip Easter card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Flowers for Every Season dsp – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Bumblebee – 4 ¾” by 3 ½”
Basic White – 4⅝” by 3⅜”
Bumblebee – 2⅜” by ¾”
Basic White – 2⅜” by ¾”
Scrap Basic White
I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to add the piece of Flowers for Every Season dsp to the Thick Basic White card base.
The panel of Basic White card was run through the stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the pretty Stitched with Whimsy Dies.
I inked up the large tulip image using Flirty Flaming ink then rolled the edges around on the Poppy Parade ink pad before stamping down on the die cut piece. I repeated this step to get 3 pink tulips, masking the images to give dimension to the group.
The stems were added in Mint Macaron ink and the leaves stamped in the same ink onto scrap Basic White card and punched out or cut out with Scissors.
The flower was inked up again with So Saffron ink, the edges rolled in Bumblebee ink and stamped down on Scrap Basic White card. The flower was then punched out using the Tulip Builder Punch and added to the panel on Dimensionals. The whole piece was then glued to the larger Bumblebee panel.
I added a strip of Lace Trim to the right-hand side of the panel before adding the layer to the card front.
The sentiment was stamped in Basic Gray ink onto the small piece of Basic White which was then glued to the Bumblebee strip and tucked up underneath the decorated panel. I added a trio of Gold Glitter Dots to complete the card.
I hope you like it.
