Today I am sharing a sweet yellow tulip thank you card made using the Timeless Tulips stamp set and Tulip Builder Punch. I made this card for a team challenge, the theme is ‘Use a Punch’
To recreate the yellow tulip card you will need:
Pretty Peacock card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
2019 – 2021 In Color designer series paper (dsp) – ⅜” by 3⅝”
Vellum – 5” by 3¼”
So Saffron – 4⅜” by 2⅝”
Whisper White – 4¼” by 2½”
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Scrap Whisper White
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I glued the designer series paper to the Pretty Peacock card base. I used a strip of Tear & Tape in the centre of the dsp panel to adhere the Vellum panel to the card front.
I stamped 2 stems onto the small panel of Whisper White using Pear Pizzazz ink and added some leaves in the same colour. The sentiment from the Sending You Thoughts stamp set was stamped at the bottom of the panel in Pretty Peacock ink.
I stamped the 2 tulips in So Saffron ink onto scrap Whisper White card and punched these out using the Tulip Builder Punch. The 2 leaves were stamped in Pear Pizzazz and punched out with the same punch.
Using a bone folder I curved the tulips and added them to the stamped panel using a dimensional. The punched leaves were also added using a dimensional.
The decorated panel was then glued to the So Saffron layer with the liquid glue and the whole piece added to the card front with the same glue.
I used the dark So Saffron Blends Marker to colour a trio of Basic Pearls and added these to complete the card.
Such a pretty card, I hope you like it.
