Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing summer fun themed projects. In the summer, I love nothing more than sitting in the garden, with a friend and a drink in my hand and have used the Coffee With Friends stamp set to create my card.
Colours in this card are:
To recreate the coffee with friends card, you will need:
Basic Beige card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5⅝” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Country Woods dsp – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 4” by 4”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside – rounded upper right corner
Basic Black card – 2” by ⅜”
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the piece of Country Woods dsp to the Basic Black panel.
A length of Checked ribbon was wrapped around the panel, secured on the back with Sellotape. The whole piece was then glued to the Basic Beige card front,
I used the Perennial Postage Dies to die cut a label. I ran it through twice to make it smaller.
The image of the two girls on the bench was stamped onto the die cut piece using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The image was then coloured using the following Blends Pens – Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia, Pool Party, Lemon Lolly, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Medium Light combo, Medium combo, Medium Deep combo & Deep combo. The coloured piece was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set was stamped on the small strip of Basic Black card with Versamark ink. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I added it to the card front.
A trio of Rainbow Dots and a ribbon bow completed the card.
Please hop on over to see what summer fun my crafty friends have been inspired by.
