Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects created around shapes. I have chosen to make my card using the Nested Essentials Dies.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the nested essentials shapes card, you will need:
Pretty Peacock card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Basic White card – 2” by 2”
Scrap Basic White card and Masterfully Made dsp
Using the Nested Essentials dies, I die cut 12 of the smallest lozenge shapes from pieces of Masterfully Made dsp.
I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the die cut pieces to the 5⅝” by 3⅞” piece of Basic White card. I trimmed off the excess and used the scraps to fill in the gaps. The panel was glued to the Pretty Peacock card base.
Using the Stylish Shapes dies, I cut the smallest circle from the square of Basic White card. I stamped the sentiment, from the Grassy Grove stamp set in the centre in Pretty Peacock. I added it to the card front on Dimensionals.
From scrap Basic White card, I die cut 2 leafy sprigs using the Textured Floral dies. I cut them down and tucked them under the raised circle.
A trio of Festive Pearls completed the card.
Please hop on to share the inspiration provided by my crafty friends.
