Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge inspired by this picture. I have used the inspiration to make a simple blessings card.
The colours in this project are:
To recreate the simple blessings card, you will need:
Highland Heather card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Evening Evergreen card – 5¼” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – for the inside
Basic White strip
Scrap Basic White card
Using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder I embossed the smaller panel of Basic White card.
The embossed panel was added to the Evening Evergreen layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
I wrapped a length of Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the panel before adding it to the Highland Heather card front using the same glue.
I stamped the large floral image in Merry Merlot ink onto a scrap piece of Basic White card.
The image was coloured using the following Blends Markers – Evening Evergreen, Magenta Madness, Polished Pink & Highland Heather.
The sentiment was stamped in Evening Evergreen ink on the strip of Basic White card and trimmed down using Scissors before being added to the card front.
A bow of the same ribbon and a trio of Iridescent Rhinestones finished the card.
Such a pretty card, I hope you like it.
Please hop on to share the projects created by my fellow demos.
