Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using the gorgeous new 2022 – 2024 In Colors. I have teamed them up with the adorable Sunny Splash stamp set to make a sunny swimsuit card.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the sunny swimsuit card, you will need:
Tahitian Tide card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Starry Sky card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left corner x 2, one for the inside
2022 – 2024 In Color dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Scrap Basic White
Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the 2022 – 2024 In Color dsp to one of the Basic White panels. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the dsp in Starry Sky ink, thankfully I got it straight.
I used a Blending Brush to apply Tahitian Tide ink to the top half of the panel to give the effect of a Summer sky.
A length of 2022 – 2024 In Color Twine with a strip of Tahitian Tide running through it around the panel securing it on the back with Sellotape. The whole panel was adhered to the Starry Sky layer with the same liquid glue. The whole piece was glued to the Tahitian Tide card front.
I stamped the sweet swimsuits onto scrap Basic White card using each of the new In Colors – Starry Sky, Tahitian Tide, Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet and Orchid Oasis. These colours look amazing together don’t they.
The swimsuits were added to the card front on Dimensionals.
To finish the card, I added a double Baker’s Twine bow and some of the 2022 – 2024 In Color Dots.
I absolutely love this card, can’t wait for summer to come. Which swimsuit would you chose?
