A pretty caravan themed card made using the Tree Lots Dies by Stampin' Up!

Caravan card

I am loving the new Tree Lot Dies, available in the July-August Sale-a-Bration brochure. The caravan is just adorable.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the caravan card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Orchid Oasis card – 4⅝” by 3⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4½” by 3” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Pool Party, Silver Foil, Window Sheet and 2022 – 2024 In Color dsp

Using Crumb Cake ink and the ‘ground’ image from the Oceanfront stamp set, I stamped across the bottom of the smaller Basic White panel.

I tore a piece of copy paper into a wavy line and used it to ink the ‘cloudy sky’ with Balmy Blue ink having masked the sun using a die cut circle cut with the Layering Circle dies. The birds, from the Mountain Air stamps set were stamped in Basic Gray ink across the sky. The stamped piece was then glued to the Orchid Oasis panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The Caravan, from the Tree Lot Dies was cut from scrap Pool Party card and the top and bottom of the caravan from scrap Silver Foil. They were glued together with liquid glue. I added a piece of Window Sheet behind the caravan windows and used scraps of 2022 – 2024 In Color dsp to make curtains. The tyre was coloured with the Basic Black Blends Pen.

I used Dimensionals to add the caravan to the stamped and inked panel.

Using a snowflake image from the Trees For Sale I stamped in the upper left and lower right corners before adding the decorated panel using liquid glue.

Summer Ice Creams for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello & welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Pick A Season’. After a lot of too-ing and froing I have settled on Summer and have chosen to make my card using the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and co-ordinating Ice Cream Builder Punch to make a sweet Summer Ice Creams card. Love an ice cream on a hot summer’s day.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Summer ice creams card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Cinnamon Cider 4⅝” by 3¼”
BW 4¾” by 3½”
BW 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap WW, Crumb Cake & Early Espresso
Whisper White Envelope

Taking the speckled image I stamped Pool Party ink onto the upper right and lower left corners of the Pool Party card base.

Using the wider of the Water Painter Brushes I added a wash of Pool Party ink to the smaller of the Basic White panels. The panel was added to the Cinnamon Cider panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The whole piece was added to the Pool Party card front using the same liquid glue.

I stamped the waffle bases to the ice cream cones in Cinnamon Cider ink onto the scrap Basic White card. The base was stamped in 2^nd generation ink and the waffle pattern added in full strength cinnamon Cider ink. They were punched out using the Ice Cream Builder Punch.

The strawberry ice cream was stamped on scrap Basic White card in 2^nd generation Polished Pink ink, I added the swirls using the detailed image from the Art Gallery stamp set and full strength Polished Pink ink and . The strawberry leaf, from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set was stamped using Granny Apple Green ink and was punched out using the Strawberry Builder Punch. It was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The vanilla ice was stamped in 2^nd generation So Saffron ink and punched out using the same Ice Cream Builder Punch. The ‘flake’ was stamped in Soft Suede ink onto a piece of Crumb Cake card and fussy cut out using scissors. The iv=ce cream was again added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I stamped the Mint Choc Chip ice cream in Mint Macaron ink and the chocolate chips added with Soft Suede ink and punched out using the Ice Cream Builder Punch. The cone was then added to the card front with Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Sweet As A Peach stamp set was stamped in Versamark Ink, covered with White Embossing Powder and heat set with my Heat Tool. It was trimmed out using Scissors and added to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Sweet Strawberry

Here is a sweet and summery looking card featuring the gorgeous Berry Delightful dsp and the Sweet Strawberry stamp set.

The colour combo used for today’s project:

To recreate the Sweet Strawberry card, you will need:

Poppy Parade card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Basic White – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – – Rounded upper right corner
Berry Delightful dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper right corner
Flirty Flamingo – 4” by 3”
Basic White – 4” by 3”
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner – for the inside
Scrap Basic White

I began by adding the panel of dsp to the larger Basic White layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I wrapped the White Baker’s Twine, from the Snail Mail duo pack, 3 times around the layer before using the same liquid glue to stick it to the Poppy Parade card base.

Using the Tasteful Labels dies and the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine, I cut an identical label from the Flirty Flamingo and smaller Basic White panels. I cut the Flirty Flamingo label down the middle using my Paper Trimmer.

Using Basic Gray ink I stamped the sprig of leaves and flowers onto the Basic White label. I coloured the leaves, stem sand flowers in using Granny Apple Green and Flirty Flamingo Blends Markers. The stamped label was then glued to the 2 sides of the Flirty Flamingo label. The whole piece was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I stamped the leaf in Granny Apple Green ink, the outline in full strength and the infill in 2^nd generation onto scarp Basic White card. I punched the leaf out using the Strawberry Builder Punch. The flower was stamped in full strength Flirty Flamingo ink and the infill stamp in 2^nd generation. The same punch was used to cut them out.

The sentiment from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set was stamped in Poppy Parade ink onto to scrap Basic White and trimmed out using Scissors. The sentiment, leaf and flowers were added to the card front with liquid glue.

To complete the card, I added a trio of Red Rhinestones to the flower centres.

Spring Stamp-a-Stack

Some of my lovely ladies and I spent yesterday crafting away at my Spring Stamp-a-Stack event whilst the sun beat down outside. This time their pack included the fabulous Tutti-Fruitti 6”x6” dsp stack and a pack of Glitter Enamel Dots. This dsp pack is so bright and cheerful……..perfect for those Spring/Summer days. I paired the paper up with some fun and playful stamp sets.
