I am loving the new Nature’s Harvest stamp set; those coneflowers are absolutely gorgeous and great for those of us who like to colour.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the Nature’s Harvest card, you will need:
Basic Gray card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Smoky Slate card – 5½” by 3¾”
Pansy Petals dsp – 4½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 4½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White
Using the speckled, grungy stamp from the Nature’s Harvest stamp set, I stamped in 2nd generation Smoky Slate ink onto the Smoky Slate panel, concentrating on the edges of the panel as the centre will be hidden. The panel was then adhered to the Basic Gray card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I put a couple of strips of Tear and Tape down the centre of the inked panel and laid, in a zig zag, a long strip of the Organdy Striped Ribbon,
The coneflower image was stamped in Basic Gray ink onto the smaller piece of Basic White card and die cut using the largest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
The image was coloured using the following Blends Alcohol Markers – Smoky Slate, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink.
I used the same texture stamp and 2nd generation Petal Pink ink to add some background colour. The panel was then added to the Pansy Petal dsp with liquid glue and the whole panel added to the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped in Basic Gray on scrap Basic White and trimmed out using Scissors. I added a trio of Elegant Faceted Gems to complete the card.
I love the coral tones with the gray, so soft and delicate looking.
