Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share. Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge. We had to create a project using 3 of the following colours – Soft Succulent. Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink, Polished Pink or Rich Razzleberry. I have chosen to make a shining bauble card using the following colours:
To recreate the shining bauble card, you will need:
Soft Succulent card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Soft Succulent card – 5⅞” by 4⅛”
Polished Pink card – 4 ¾” by 3 ½”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
I ran the panel of Soft Succulent through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the gorgeous Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. The panel was then glued to the Soft Succulent card front using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
Using the Ornate Layers dies I cut an ornate rectangle from the smaller panel of Basic White card.
The baubles were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the ornate panel. I masked the stitching at the top before adding the bauble strings and also masked off one of the baubles using a Post It Note.
I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Deer Stamp set in Soft Succulent ink and added the stamped layer to the panel of Polished Pink
The baubles were coloured using the following Blends Marker Pens – Soft Sea Foam, Soft Succulent & Polished Pink. The decorated panel was then added to the Soft Succulent card base on Dimensionals.
The card was decorated with a trio of 2021 – 2023 In Color Jewels.
Love these colours together, so pretty.
