A large turtle themed thank you card made using the Sea Turtle stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Large Turtle card

Here is a pretty thank you card, featuring a large turtle and made using the Sea Turtle stamp set.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the large turtle card, you will need:

Misty Moonlight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Daffodil Delight card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

I stamped the bubble image across the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card using Pool Party ink.

The large turtle was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink onto scrap Basic White card. I fussy cut it out using sharp Scissors.

The large turtle was placed onto the stamped panel to give me an idea of placement. I then moved it aside and stamped 3 small starfish in Daffodil Delight ink.

The turtle was then curved using my Bone Folder. I added Dimensionals down the centre and mounted the turtle onto the stamped panel.

The sentiment, from the Simply Said stamp set, was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and the panel was then glued to the Daffodil Delight layer and then to the Misty Moonlight card front.

Lemon Lime Twist card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”

From scrap Basic White card, I punched a Hexagon using the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. I placed it onto the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card and drew round it lightly with a pencil.

Using Lemon Lime Twist ink, I stamped the larger Starfish three times around the pencilled outline, making sure to overlap the drawn in line.

I added the smaller Starfish using Orchid Oasis ink then Lost lagoon ink and finally Fresh Freesia ink. The pencil lines were then erased and the decorated panel was adhered to the Lemon Lime Twist panel. The whole piece was then glued to the Orchid Oasis card front.

The sentiment, from the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set, was stamped on the punched white hexagon in Orchid Oasis ink. A hexagon was punched from scrap Lost Lagoon card, cut across the middle from side to side and glued to the back of the sentiment label with a little of the Lost Lagoon showing at the top and bottom. The sentiment was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

A trio of Adhesive backed Discs decorated the bottom of the sentiment piece and a trio of the same sequins were scattered around the starfish.
