Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are making projects based around a colour challenge. The colours we have been given are:
I added in Basic White
To recreate the seashells card, you will need:
Pacific Point card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Mango Melody card – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 3½” by 1½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card
I used the Painted Textures Embossing Folder to add texture to the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card.
The Mango Melody square was cut on the diagonal, from corner to corner. I snipped off the 4-pointed ends and glued the triangles behind the embossed layer. The whole piece was then added to the Pacific Point card front using liquid glue.
The seashells were stamped on scrap Basic White in Mango Melody, Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide or Pacific Point ink and die cut using the Seaside Seashells Dies. I used a Clear Wink of Stella pen to add a little colour on the shells and provide a little sparkle.
The sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set was stamped on the strip of Basic White card in Pacific Point ink, it was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
The seashells were tucked under and around the sentiment, I cut them down if necessary to make them fit,
A Tahitian Tide Baker’s Twine Bow and a trio of 2021 – 2023 In Color Opal Rounds finished the card.
I hope you like it.
