Today I am sharing a card made using the Beautiful Promenade stamp set…….I am addicted to this set at the moment, it is so versatile – and the emboss resit technique.
To Recreate the Beautiful Promenade card you will need;
Thick Whisper White card base
Whisper White cardstock 5⅞” by 2”
Highland Heather 5⅞” by ⅜” x 2
Scrap of Whisper White
Scrap of Flirty Flamingo
I began by rubbing the Embossing Buddy down the strip of Whisper White cardstock to remove any static or oils from the cardstock. I inked up the stripey ‘inner flower’ with Versamark ink and stamped it randomly down the length of the cardstock. The panel was then covered with White Embossing Powder and heat set using my Heat Tool.
I used Sponge Daubers to apply the ink over each of the flowers – Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Highland Heather and wiped off the excess ink using a tissue.
I glued the strips of Highland Heather either side of the stamped panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and added it to the Thick Whisper White card base with Dimensionals.
The sentiment from the Beach Happy stamp set was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink onto a scrap of Whisper White The ends were flagged with my Banner Triple Punch and added a slightly longer and thinner strip of scrap Flirty Flamingo cardstock behind with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The sentiment was then added to the card front with the same adhesive.
I stamped the same image in Flirty Flamingo ink on the inside of the card and the front of the envelope. I coloured a trio of Basic Pearls using my Dark Flirty Flamingo Blends Pen and added them to the card front.
I love the fresh colours of this card. I hope you like it.
