Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using some of our gorgeous Sale-a-Bration choices. I have used the Cradled with Love stamp set to make a pretty baby card for friends who have just welcomed their first grandchild.
Colours in this project are:
To recreate the cradle card, you will need:
Boho Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 1¼” & 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 2¾”
Flight & Airy dsp – 5½” by 2⅝”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5⅝ by 3⅞”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 1⅛”
I glued the panel of Flight and Airy dsp to the 5⅝” by 2¾” piece of Basic White card. This was then glued to the Boho Blue card front.
The two 5⅝” by 1⅛” strips of Basic White card were embossed using the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder. One of the embossed strips was then adhered to the 1 ¼” flap on the front of the card. I then glued this strip to the dsp panel.
The second embossed strip was adhered to the 5⅝ by 3⅞” panel of Basic White card. I glued this inside the card.
Using the Scalloped Contour Dies, I die cut a Scalloped Rectangle. I stamped the rug onto the label in Balmy Blue ink. The cradle was then stamped in Pecan Pie ink. I added the mobile using Smoky Slate ink.
The following Blends Alcohol Pens were used to colour in the image – Balmy Blue, Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight, Lemon Lolly and Crumb Cake. The scalloped rectange was the glued to the 1⅛” embossed strip. This gives the illusion that the panel is floating.
A trio of 2023 – 2025 In Colour Dots completed the card.
