Hello and welcome to the Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop where we are celebrating Christmas in July. I have made a rainbow snowflake card made using the Snowflake Wishes stamp set.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the rainbow snowflake card, you will need:
Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Misty Moonlight card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – rounded upper right corner – one for the inside
I started by randomly stamping the largest snowflake in Soft Sea Foam ink across one of the Basic White panels. I added the group of snowflakes in Balmy Blue ink.
The next size snowflake was stamped in Fresh Freesia ink, the next in Pale Papaya ink and finally the smallest in Polished Pink ink.
The sentiment from the same stamp set was added in Balmy Blue ink and the panel added to the Misty Moonlight panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
I wrapped a piece of White seam-binding ribbon around the panel securing it on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then added to the Fresh Freesia card front on Dimensionals.
I added a double bow, made with the same seam-binding ribbon with a Mini Glue Dots. To complete the card I added a trio of Basic Rhinestones.
I hope you like it. Please hop on to see what Susan Simpson has to share with us today
