Today I am sharing a pretty card featuring a pretty basket of blooms made using the Basket of Blooms stamp set and the Small Bloom Punch.
To recreate the Basket of Blooms card you will need:
Thick Whisper White – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
In Good Taste designer series paper (dsp) – 5¾” by 4”
Old Olive – 5½” by 4 ¼”
Whisper White – 5” by 3¾”
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” for the inside
I adhered the dsp to the front of the Thick Whisper White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
Using the Rectangle Stitched Dies I cut a rectangle from the Old Olive panel, I only planned to use the negative piece on this card.
I stamped the basket onto the smaller panel of Whisper White card and added the leaves in Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz ink. I also stamped the basket onto scarp Whisper White card and trimmed it out using scissors. I used a Water Painter to move the ink around giving the basket a little texture. The cut out basket was then added on top of the stamped basket on Dimensionals.
A selection of flowers were stamped in Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Highland Heather ink. They were then coloured in using the following Blends Markers – Flirty Flamingo combo, Poppy Parade, Purple Posy & Soft Suede.
I punched out the larger flowers and fussy cut the others. They were added to the basket using liquid adhesive or Dimensionals.
The sentiment from the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set was stamped in Soft Suede ink and the Old Olive ‘frame’ added over top. The whole panel was added with the liquid adhesive to the card front. I added Basic Rhinestones to the centre of the largest flowers.
I hope you like it.
