Hello and welcome to the Birthday Wishes Blog Hop where we are sharing……….surprise, surprise…… birthday cards. I have used the pretty Sketched Butterflies stamp set and dies to make a sweet birthday card.
To recreate the birthday butterflies card, you will need:
Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Pretty Peacock card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” Scrap Basic White card
Using Pretty Peacock ink, I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Sweetly Scripted stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink. The stamped layer was then glued to the Pretty Peacock panel and then to the Pool Party card front.

The large butterfly was coloured using the Pool Party and Pretty Peacock Blend Pens.
I used the Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather Blends Pends to colour both of the smaller butterflies. The bodies of all the butterflies were coloured with a Gray Granite Blends Pen.

I shaped the butterflies wings with my Bone Folder and laid them in position on the card front. Using the ‘dotty image’ from the Country Birdhouse stamp set and Pool Party ink, I added some dotty texture under the small butterflies. All three butterflies were then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

A Purple Shimmer Gem was added to the body of each butterfly and a couple of extra’s scattered around.
