I have been playing with the Share a Milkshake stamp set and dies to make a pretty card for a friend.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the stripy milkshake card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”

Scrap Basic White and Silver Foil

Taking the long thin pot from the Earthen Textures stamp set and stamped it sideways down the 5⅞” by 1⅞” panel of Basic White card in full strength and 2nd generation Leon Lolly ink to make this really cool texture. I added stripes using the long twiggy stem from one of the stamps from the same stamp set using Pebbled Path ink. I saw this technique in a Youtube video by fellow demonstrator Sarine Zijderveld.

A pretty love you card for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop using the Share a Milkshake stamp set and co-ordinating set of dies by Stampin' Up!

Yummy Milkshake card for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are using up or recycling left over bits and pieces from other projects. I chose to use a Rich Razzleberry oval, a decorative oval frame, both left over from my January classes and a stamped sundae glass that I didn’t end up using on another project.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the yummy milkshake card, you will need:

Polished Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3¾”
Rich Razzleberry – 4” by 3” – to die cut the oval
Basic White card – 5” by 4⅛” – to die cut decorative oval frame
Rich Razzleberry card – 1½” by ½”
Rich Razzleberry card – 4⅛” by ½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White & Polished Pink card

I ran the 5⅛” by 3¾” panel of Basic White, an offcut lying about on my desk, through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. It turned out to be a little shorter than I thought so I die cut a scalloped border from the longer strip of Rich Razzleberry card using the Penned Flowers Dies, added it to the bottom of the embossed panel and trimmed off the excess.

Share a Milkshake card for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using a colour and or picture challenge. I have used the new Share a Milkshake stamp set which will be available from the 5th January in my online shop.

Colours used in this project are:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Dandy Designs dsp – 5⅞” by 2¼”
Soft Suede card – 3⅝” by 2⅝”
Very Vanilla card – 3½” by 2½”
Very Vanilla card – 5½” by 3¾”
