Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Fall/Autumn/Halloween’ and I have chosen to use the adorable Seasons of Fun stamp set to make my card which features a pumpkin child.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the hello pumpkin card, you will need:
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Crumb Cake Card – 5¾” by 4”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Pumpkin Pie card – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – ½” strip
I ran the Crumb Cake panel through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. I wrapped a length of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon around the panel, securing it on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then added to the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
Using Early Espresso ink, I stamped the sweet image of the little girl dressed as a pumpkin onto the 3” by 3” square of Basic White card. I used my Layering Circle Dies and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to die cut the image. I also die cut a slightly larger scalloped circle from the Pumpkin Pie square of card/
I used the following Blends Alcohol Marker Pens to colour in the image – Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Ivory. Doesn’t she look adorable.
Using a Blending Brush, I added some Balmy Blue ink around the edges of the image. The coloured image was then adhered to the Pumpkin Pie scalloped circle and added it to the card base using Dimensionals.
The sentiment from the Season’s Blessings stamp set was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto the ½” strip of Basic White card and trimmed down with scissors. I added it to the card front with liquid glue. The card was decorated with a scatter of Artistry Blooms Sequins an a bow made using the same gingham ribbon.
I hope you like the card.
