I really love Christmas and Christmas crafting and today I am sharing a card made using the Evergreen Elegance stamp set paired with the Natural Textiles stamp set and Scalloped Contour Dies. I made the card for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where our theme is ‘All Things Christmas’.
To recreate the evergreen trees card, you will need:
Smoky Slate card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” Shaded Spruce card – 5⅞” by 3” Basic White card – 5⅞” by 2¼” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” Basic Gray card – 2” by 1¼”
I inked up one of the gorgeous background stamps from the Natural Textiles stamp set in Smoky Slate ink. I stamped off twice before stamping the image down the left and right side of the Smoky Slate card front.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – Evergreen Trees stamp set paired with the Natural Textiles stamp set for a pretty Christmas card
I inked the same stamp again with the same ink, stamped off once then stamped onto the strip of Basic White card. I repeated this 3 times covering the whole panel.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – Evergreen Trees stamp set paired with the Natural Textiles stamp set for a pretty Christmas card
Using the tall tree, I stamped in Shaded Spruce onto the bottom of the stamped strip in 1st and 2nd generation ink. This step was repeated to fill up the bottom of the panel.
Using the Scalloped Contour Dies, I cut the scalloped border using the Shaded Spruce card and added it behind the stamped layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – Evergreen Trees stamp set paired with the Natural Textiles stamp set for a pretty Christmas card
I wrapped a piece of Silver Mesh Ribbon around the panel and tied it in a bow, securing the bow with a Mini Glue Dot.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – Evergreen Trees stamp set paired with the Natural Textiles stamp set for a pretty Christmas card
The sentiment from the For Unto Us stamp set (so happy this set has returned) was stamped in Versamark ink onto the small piece of Basic Gray card, covered in White Embossing Powder and heat set using a Heat Tool. I used a Tailor-Made Tag Die to cut out the sentiment, I actually shorted the die cut as it was too long, and added it under the bow with a Mini Glue Dot.

Here is a pretty thank you card made using the new Flowers of Friendship stamp set which is available in the new Annual Catalogue which launched earlier this week. This was made for the Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop where our theme is ‘All Things Floral’.
To recreate the friendship thank you card, you will need:
Daffodil Delight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” Basic White – 5½” by 4⅛” Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside Scrap Granny Apple Green & Basic White
I mounted both of the small leaves onto the same acrylic and randomly stamped them around the edge of the Daffodil Delight card front in Daffodil Delight ink.
www.crafty-rootes.com -The Flowers of Friendship stamp set used for a pretty thank you card

Using the lovely Scalloped Contour Dies and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to cut out the coloured flower panel. This was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
www.crafty-rootes.com -The Flowers of Friendship stamp set used for a pretty thank you card
