Lemon Magnolia card

Here is a pretty lemon magnolia card made using the Magnolia Mood stamp set and dies in combination with the Simply Sophisticated stamp set and embossing folder.

To recreate the lemon magnolia card, you will need:

Lemon Lolly card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pecan Pie card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Pecan Pie card – 1 ¾” by ½”
Scrap Basic White card

Using the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder I embossed the 5⅛” by 3⅜” piece of Basic White card. The embossed panel was then adhered to the Pecan Pie layer.

I wrapped a length of Sheer Ribbon around the panel and then glued it to the Lemon Lolly card base.

The gorgeous, large floral image from the Magnolia Mood stamp set, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Basic White card and die cut using the Magnolia Mood dies.

The following Blends Pens were used to colour in the image – Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam & Pecan Pie. I used the Color Lifter to give a little points of light to the petals. The floral image was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the scrap of Pecan Pie card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. I added it to the card with a dimensional.

A trio of Opaque Faceted Gems completed the card.

Simply Sophisticated card

Here is a pretty simply sophisticated card made using the Softly Sophisticated stamp set and some circle dies.

To recreate the simply sophisticated card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Sunny Days dsp – 5¾” by 1½”
Sunny Days dsp – 5¾” by ¾”
Gorgeous Grape – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White – 3” by 3”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾”

Using sharp scissors, I flagged the ends of both strips of Sunny Days dsp and glued them to the Pool Party card base.

From the square of Basic White card I die cut a circle using the Everyday Details Dies.

The spray of leaves from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink onto the die cut white circle. The flowers were added in Gorgeous Grape ink.

Using the Deckled Circles Dies, I die cut a slightly larger circle from the square of Gorgeous Grape catd. The 2 circles were glued together and added to the card base on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink.

A double White Baker’s Twine bow and a trio of Purple Shimmer Gems finished the card.
