I am loving the To a Wild Rose stamp set and Wild Rose dies, they are so easy to use and look stunning in any colour. Today I am sharing a purple version
To recreate the Purple Rose card you will need;
Purple Posy card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Gorgeous Grape 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2 – rounded upper left corner
Purple Posy 5” by 1½”
Scrap Whisper White
I stamped the speckled flower centre image in Purple Posy ink in the upper right and lower left corners of the Purple Posy card base.
The outline rose image was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock. The second more detailed layer was added in Highland Heather ink and the final solid layer in Purple Posy ink. Don’t the three purples look great together. The image was then die cut using the Wild Rose dies.
The outline leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green and the second layer added in the 2nd generation if the same ink. They were also then die cut.
I glued one of the Whisper White panels to the Gorgeous Grape layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and used the same glue to add the panel to the card front.
The filigree border piece from the same die set was cut in Purple Posy cardstock then added to the card front. The sentiment from the Wonderful Moments stamp set was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink.
The flower was then added on Dimensionals and the leaves tucked in behind.
The inside Whisper White panel and the envelope was decorated using the speckled flower centre image in Purple Posy ink.
Such a pretty card, I really like the soft colours. I hope you like it
