Hello and welcome to the Pride Blog Hop where we are showing our support for the Pride Movement and the LGBTQ community. I have used the gorgeous Ranunculus Dies to make a rainbow themed card.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the ranunculus rainbow card you will need:
Granny Apple Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded lower left corner
Basic Black card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded lower left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3½” x 2 – one for the inside – rounded lower left corner
Basic Black card – 2½” by ¾”
Scrap Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Orchid Oasis, Gorgeous Grape
Using the Ranunculus Dies, I die cut a leaf from the scraps of Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Orchid Oasis and Gorgeous Grape card.
I adhered them, in rainbow order down the length of one of the Basic White panels from the upper left to the lower right. I used a Mini Glue Dot in the centre of each leaf as I wanted the leaves to have some movement and dimension.
Using the speckled image from the Merriest Moments stamp set and Soft Sea Foam ink to add interest to the background. The decorated panel was then adhered to the Basic Black panel. This was added to the Granny Apple Green card base with the same liquid glue.
I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Fabulous stamp set in Versamark ink onto the small piece of Basic Black card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool. I added it to the card front on Dimensionals.
A trio of Classic Matte Dots completed the card.
I hope you like it. Please hop on to share the inspiration provided by my stamping friends.
