No Peeking card

I have made a pretty ‘no peeking’ Christmas card to share today using the Sending Cheer stamp set and co-ordinating Dies.

Colours in this project are:

To recreate the no peeking card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Real Red card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White & Real Red

The panel of Real Red card was embossed using the Christmas Tidings Embossing Folder and adhered to the larger Basic White layer.

A length of Iridescent Ribbon was wrapped around the panel before it was glued to the Crumb Cake card base.

I die cut the letter tag, cut off the tag loop at the top to create a small rectangle with rounded corners. The sentiment was then stamped along the bottom in Pool Party and Real Red ink. I masked off the word I didn’t want to stamp, inked up, removed the mask and stamped down then repeated it with the second word. This piece was then added to the card front using Mini Glue Dots to straddle the ribbon.

The present was stamped in Pool Party ink onto scrap Basic White and die cut using the Sending Cheer dies. I cut off the ribbon bow thing at the top. The ribbon was then die cut from Real Red card and glued onto the present. The present was then added to the white rectangle on Dimensionals.

A scattering of Blooming Pearls and a ribbon bow complete the card.
