Pot of Geraniums card

Today, I have used the pretty Potted Geranium stamp set to make a sweet, floral thank you card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the pot of geranium card, you will need:

Sweet Sorbet card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic Black card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper left corner – for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Polished Pink, Sweet Sorbet & Basic White card

I stamped the small ‘ground’ image a number of times in 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Sahara Sand ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card. This piece was then adhered to the Basic Black panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The same glue was then used to fix the panel to the front of the Sweet Sorbet card front.

The pot was stamped onto scrap Basic White card, the detailed image in Bermuda Bay and the more solid image in 2nd generation Coastal Cabana ink. The pot was die-cut using the Geranium Dies.

I stamped the outline cluster of flowers in Sweet Sorbet ink onto the scarp Basic White card and added the sold image overtop in Polished Pink ink. These were then die-cut using the same set of dies. Using a sponge dauber, I added Coastal Cabana ink along the bottom wedge to the die-cut flowers to disguise the white border and help them blend into the pot. I adhered the flowers and pot together using Dimensionals and then mounted it onto the card front.

The Geranium leaves were stamped in Old Olive ink onto the scrap white card, the outline in full strength and the in-fill in 2nd generation. It was die-cut out and added to the card front on Dimensionals with the stem tucked in behind the flowers.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto scrap Basic Black card, covered with White Embossing Powder and heat set using my Heat Tool. I trimmed it out with Scissors and added it to the card front.

A trio of Festive Pearls completed the card. So pretty.
