Beautiful Floral card for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing projects themed around a picture/colour challenge. As the picture is floral themed, I couldn’t resist using the Textured Florals stamp set and dies to make my card.

 

Colours used in this beautiful floral card are:

 

To recreate the Beautiful fFloral card, you will need:

Daffodil Delight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Garden Green card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White card

 

The smaller panel of Basic White card was embossed using one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. I glued it to the Garden Green panel. This was then added to the card front using the same liquid glue.

The large flower, from the Textured Florals stamp set was stamped in Daffodil Delight ink onto scarp Basic White card. The smaller flowers were added in Flirty Flamingo ink. The flower centres were added with Smoky Slate ink.

I stamped the spriggy image in Garden Green ink onto scrap Basic White card and added the blossoms in Wild Wheat ink. The leaves were stamped in either Granny Apple Green or Garden Green ink. The whole lot were die cut using the Textured Florals dies.

The flowers were added to the card front on either liquid glue or Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Throughout the Year stamp set was stamped in Garden Green ink onto scrap Basic White card. I trimmed it out with Scissors and added it to the card front.

By the Sea card for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a sketch and colour challenge. I have used the Oceanfront stamp set and Seaside Dies to create my card.

To recreate the By the sea card, you will need:

Blueberry Bushel card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Daffodil Delight card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral & Granny Apple Green

 

Using 2nd generation Blueberry Bushel ink, I stamped the ‘sky’. The sea was then stamped in 2nd generation Coastal Cabana ink.

The ‘sand’ was added in 1st & 2nd generation Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the grasses in Granny Apple Green ink.

Using my Mini Cut & Emboss Machine, and the Seaside Dies I die cut the large and small tufts of grasses and adhered them to the stamped panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I die cut the small scallop shells from scrap Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight card. These were then added to the decorated panel.

The sentiment from the Sending Smiles stamp set was stamped along the bottom in Crumb Cake ink. The panel was then glued to the Daffodil Delight layer and then added to the Blueberry Bushel card base.

Final Cup of Tea card for the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a picture and/or a colour combo,

To recreate the cup of tea card, you will need:

Gray Granite card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Sweet Sorbet card – 4⅛” by 2⅞” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4” by 2¾” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Basic White card

 

The large leaf from the Cup of Tea stamp set was stamped in 1st and 2nd generation Gray Granite ink in the upper left and lower right corners of the Gray Granite card base.

The striped teacup was stamped in Gray Granite ink onto scrap Basic White card. The small tag was stamped in Soft Suede ink and the sentiment added it Sweet Sorbet ink. I also stamped the larger flower in Blushing Bride and Sweet Sorbet ink. All of these images were die cut using the Teacup Dies.

The larger leafy sprig was stamped on the smaller panel of Basic White card in Soft Sea Foam ink and a Blushing Bride flower added. The clump of leaves and stems were stamped in Garden Green ink and the group of flowers added in Sweet Sorbet. The whole panel was glued to the Sweet Sorbet layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The Teacup was added onto the panel on Dimensionals. The label was glued in place and the die cut flowers added with liquid glue.

The Lovely You stamp set by Stampin' Up! used to make a pretty floral card for the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop

Lovely You card for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we have a picture to work from. I have chosen to use the colours of the picture for my lovely you card.

Colours used in this project are:

 

To recreate the lovely you card, you will need:

Pear Pizzazz card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Pacific Point card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Pacific Point

 

I die cut a stitched circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies, placed it onto the 5⅛” by 3⅜” panel of Basic White and drew around it with a pencil. This helped me to plan where to stamp my images.

The bushy leaves were stamped in Soft Succulent around the pencilled circle. I added the trio of leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink.

Next, I inked up the flower and stem using Pacific Point for the flower and Cajun Craze for the stem and leaves. These were added around the circle. Next, I added the thin sprig in Evening Evergreen ink.

Finally, I added the single flower in 1st & 2nd generation Pacific Point ink. I rubbed the pencil line out with a rubber. The whole panel was added to the Pacific Point panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and I used the same glue to adhere the panel to the Pear Pizzazz card front.

The sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set was stamped in Cajun Craze ink onto the die cut stitched circle. One side of the circle was trimmed down and the circle added on Dimensionals.

A small butterfly was die cut from scrap Pacific Point card using the Daffodil Dies. The butterfly was added to the card front along with a trio of Basic Rhinestones to complete the card.

Not a colour combo I would have chosen but I really like how the card has turned out. I hope you like it.
