Today I have made an ornate daisy card using the stunning Ornate Garden suite and oh my goodness I love it all.
To recreate the Ornate Garden card you will need:
Poppy Parade card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Basic Gray – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper right corner x 2
Poppy Parade – 3½” by 2”
Whisper White – 2½” by 1¼”
Scrap Whisper White
I started by running one of the Whisper White layers through the Big Shot with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. This folder is so intricate, it is gorgeous.
I added the embossed panel to the Basic Gray layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. A strip of Poppy Parade ribbon was wrapped around the embossed piece and adhered on the back with Sellotape. The piece was then glued to the Poppy Parade card base with the liquid adhesive.
I die cut one of the Rectangle Stitched dies from the smallest piece of Whisper White and stamped the daisy flower in Basic Gray ink onto the die cut piece.
The daisy was coloured in using the following Blends Markers – Poppy Parade combo, Pineapple Punch combo and Old Olive combo.
I die cut one of the gorgeous ornate frames from the small Poppy Parade panel using the Ornate Layers dies. The stamped piece was then adhered to the ornate die cut frame.
The whole panel was mounted on the card front on Dimensionals. The sentiment from the Label Me Bold stamp set was stamped in Basic Gray ink on scrap Whisper White card and trimmed out using scissors. It was added to the panel with Dimensionals.
