Horizon rural secene cards made using the Oceanfront and On The Horizon stamp sets by Stampin' Up! for March 2022 classes

Oceanfront & On The Horizon Classes

I am addicted to the Oceanfront and On the Horizon stamp sets and used them to make projects for this month’s classes.

Colours used in these projects are:

Field with a Fence card

Balmy Blue card – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Garden Green – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White, Garden Green & Granny Apple Green

We punched a circle from a Post It Note and placed it near the top of the smaller panel of Basic White card. The sky was then stamped in Balmy Blue ink. The mask was removed and So Saffron ink added with a Dauber.

The grass was stamped in Granny Apple Green and the ground in Sahara Sand. We used the dotty image to add texture to the ground.

Using the Horizon Dies we cut out trees from scrap Garden Green. The grasses were cut from scrap Granny Apple Green card and the fence from scrap Basic White.

We added texture to the die cut grass using the grass image from the On The Horizon stamp set and Garden Green ink. The white die cut fence was stamped with the wood plank image.

The die cuts were then added to the stamped panel. The whole layer was added to the Garden Green panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and then to the Balmy Blue card base on Dimensionals.

The Evening Evergreen strips were glued to the Granny Apple Green card base, using the grid paper to get them as straight as possible.
