Today I am sharing a pretty card featuring a deer and her fawn in the countryside. The card was made using the Grove Dies and the stunning New Horizon dsp.
The colours used in this card are:
To recreate the deer on the horizon card, you will need:
Shaded Spruce card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
New Horizon dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” for the inside
Soft Suede scrap
Using Mossy Meadow ink, I stamped the trees from the Grassy Grove stamp set across the horizon of my piece of New Horizon dsp.
The centre of the stamped dsp was then die cut using a Stitched Rectangle die.
The outer piece of dsp was then glued to the larger panel of Basic White using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I used the same liquid glue to add this panel to the Shaded Spruce card base.
The stitched rectangular piece was then inserted, on Dimensionals into the negative space in the centre of the card front.
I die cut a deer and her fawn from scrap Soft Suede card and added them to the card front.
A few of the Peebles gave the deer something to stand on and completed the card.
I hope you like it.
