So Saffron, Blushing Bride & Blackberry Bliss used for a Colour Combo Blog Hop with the Positive Thoughts stamp set

Positive Thoughts Colour Combo Blog Hop

Here is a sweet positive thoughts card made for the Colour Combo Blog Hop where our colours are:

To recreate the positive thoughts card, you will need:

Blushing Bride card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Blackberry Bliss card – 4½” by 3”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3¼”
Basic White card – ¼” strip
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White

The pretty flower from the Positive Thoughts stamp set was stamped down the right-hand edge of the Blushing Bride card front. I used Blushing Bride ink but stamped it off once for a subtler effect. It just takes the plainness away,

I stamped the fern image in So Saffron ink, 1st and 2nd generation onto the smaller panel of Basic White card. I then used the Nature’s Thoughts dies to cut out the decorative rectangle. This is such a pretty die cut.

The sentiment from the Friends are Like Seashells stamp set was stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink onto the strip of Basic White and trimmed out with Scissors. It was added to the card front with a dab of glue.

I added a double bow made using the White Baker’s Twine and a Mini Glue Dot and added a trio of Wonderful Gems to finish the card.

Positive Thoughts

Today I am sharing a sweet card made using the gorgeous Positive Thoughts stamp set and the co-ordinating Nature’s Thoughts dies.

To recreate the Positive Thoughts card you will need:

Granny Apple Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 5½” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Granny Apple Green – 4½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 4⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Scrap Whisper White and Basic Gray

I began by stamping the lovely Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp on the 5½” by 3⅝” Whisper White panel. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the Stamparatus as I wanted to make sure I got a good image. The Stamparatus gives the option of being able to stamp the image again. I adhered the stamped panel to the front of the Granny Apple Green card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
