Rise & Shine stamp set by Stampin' Up! used to make a sweet get well soon card

Rise & Shine

Today I am sharing a sweet get well soon card made using the new Rise & Shine stamp set and the co-ordinating Cup of Cheer dies.

To recreate the Rise & Shine card you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Whisper White – 4½” by 3½”
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3 ⅝” for the inside
Scrap Whisper White

I stamped the ‘sunburst’ image randomly in Pool Party ink onto the Pool Party card base. I added the large flower inside each of the circles in Highland Heather ink. So pretty.

The mug was inked up in Pool Party ink, Bermuda Bay ink was added to the bottom of the mug using a Sponge Dauber and Coastal Cabana was added in the same way to the middle of the mug before it was stamped down on scrap Whisper White. This gives a lovely ombre look to the mug.

The mug was die cut using the Cup of Cheer dies.

Using the Stitched So Sweetly dies I cut out the largest scalloped rectangle.

I stamped the ‘steam’ onto the die cut rectangle in Pool Party ink and the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Highland Heather ink to the same panel.

The panel was added to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive before the mug was added on dimensionals.

I love this colour combination. I hope you like it.

I punched a circle from a piece of Noble Peacock Foil using the the 2¼” Punch and added the cup onto it on Dimensionals. The starburst circle was tucked behind and  the foil circle and adhered with the Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. Both were then glued to the card front.

The stars were stamped in Seaside Spray onto the large Whisper White panel and adhered to the inside of the card. The same stars were then stamped on the front of the envelope.
