Hello and welcome to the CASE a Friend Blog Hop. CASE means ‘copy and share everything’ or ‘copy and selectively edit’ and I have chosen the second option and a card designed by Karen Ksenzakovic of creativestampingdesigns.com, I also used a stamp set which will be available from the 7th January 2025 from my online store called Mixed Media.
Colours used in this card are:
To recreate the mixed media card, you will need:
Pebbled Path card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Melon Mamo card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Pebbled Path card – 3½” by 1⅛” – 3
Bloom Impressions dsp -3⅜” by 1” x 3
Basic White card -5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White card
I ran the 5½” by 3¾” panel of Basic White card through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder. The embossed panel was then adhered to the Melon Mambo layer and then to the Pebbled Path card front.
The three pieces of Bloom Impressions were then glued to the three panels of Pebbled path card. These were then added to the card front.
The large floral spray from the Mixed Media stamp set was stamped onto scrap Basic White card using Pebbled Path ink. I die cut it using the Mixed Media Dies.
The following Blends Pens were used to colour in the image – Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather and Shy Shamrock. The floral spray was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.
The sentiment, from the Friendly Seagulls stamp set, was stamped on scrap Basic White card in Pebbled Path ink and trimmed it out using sharp Scissors. I added it to the card front on Dimensionals.
A trio of Shiny Sequins completed the card.
