Here are a selection of tags made this year ready for Christmas. I tried to get ahead of the game by making a few tags each time I had a stamp set out on my desk.

To day I am sharing the cards I have made for the September Christmas Stampathon where our theme is ‘Light It Up’. I have used the pretty Merry & Bright stamp set and Dies to make my cards.
To recreate the bright lights cards, you will need:
4 card bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – I have chosen 2 Parakeet Party and 2 Tahitian Tide 4 matting layers – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – I chose 2 Parakeet Party and 2 Tahitian Tide 4 Basic White panels – 5¼” by 3½” 4 Basic White panels – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Scrap Basic White and Smoky Slate card
I ran the 4 Basic White panels measuring 5¼” by 3½” and embossed them using the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. These were then set aside.

The rounded bulbs were stamped in Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide and Poppy Parade inks onto scrap Basic White card. These were then die cut using the Merry & Bright Dies.

From scrap Smoky Slate card, I die cut 4 ‘strings’ and 12 embossed bulb holders.

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the bulb holders to the bulbs and added Dimensionals to the back of each bulb. 3 bulbs were then strung on to a ‘string’ and secured onto an embossed panel with the Dimensionals. The ends of the ‘strings’ were folded to the back and secured in place with Sellotape.

The decorated panel was then glued to the matting layers before being added to the card fronts.

A trio of Flat-backed Pearls and a coat of sparkly Wink of Stella applied to each bulb completed the cards.
