Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing gift packaging ideas. I saw a Youtube video a while ago, posted by fellow demonstrator Angie Juda using the Merriest Trees Bundle to make a sweet box and I have adapted it to make treat boxes for the customers coming to my October classes.
To recreate the merriest trees box, you will need:
Pretty Peacock card – 5¾” by 4¼” Pretty Peacock card – 8⅛” by 2 Scrap Basic White card
Using the Merriest Trees Dies I die cut 2 large trees from the 5¾” by 4¼” panel of Pretty Peacock card.

On one of the die cut pieces I stamped the snowy boughs image in Versamark ink, covered it with White Embossing Powder and Heat set it with my Heat Tool.

Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool I scored the 8⅛” by 2” strips of Pretty Peacock card – on the short side at ½” and 1½” and on the long side at ½”, 1¼”, 4” & 5¼”. I wedged out the tabs and created the top as shown in the picture below.

I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere the right side to the bottom and, having closed the top, the left side to the bottom to create the treat holder piece.

The treat holder piece was glued to the back of the undecorated die cut tree, taking care that it wasn’t visible. The decorated tree was then glued to the front of the box, again making sure to line it up so that it would stand.

The sentiment, from the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink onto scrap Basic White card and cut it out with scissors.

The parcels were stamped in Balmy Blue and Real Red and trimmed them out with Scissors. They were added to the bottom of the trees.
