The Mediterranean Blooms (dsp) from Stampin' Up! used to make a lemon pocket card for the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

Lemon Pocket card – Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing pocket cards. I have used the Mediterranean Blooms designer series paper (dsp) to make my card. I was lucky enough to get this dsp at the recent OnStage Live in Rotterdam.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the lemon pocket card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card – 5⅞” by 4⅛”
Mediterranean Blooms dsp – 5¾” by 4”
Thick Basic White card – 4⅛” by 2¾”
Mediterranean Blooms card – 4” by 2⅝”
Thick Basic White card – 4⅜” by 3¼”
Scrap Basic White & Mediterranean Blooms dsp

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the larger panel of Mediterranean Blooms dsp to the 5⅞” by 4⅛” panel of Thick Basic White card.

I used my Paper Trimmer to cut a slant in the 4⅛” by 2¾” panel of Thick Basic White card. The smaller piece of dsp was cut at the same angle before being glued to the Thick Basic White piece. I added glue to the bottom and both sides of the piece and added it to the bottom of the larger panel.

From the Mediterranean Blooms dsp, I fussy cut a sprig featuring a lemon, flowers and leaves. This was glued to the inked tag. A piece of Lemon Lolly Ribbon was fed through the hole at the top of the tag. I used a ¼” retired hole punch to make the hole.
