The Beautiful Balloons stamp set and dies by Stampin' Up! used to make a bunting and balloons themed card suitable for a boy

Bunting and Balloon card for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing Pre-order product. I have used the lovely Beautiful Balloons stamp set and co-ordinating Beautiful Balloons Dies to make a great bunting and balloon card which could be used for a boy.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the bunting and balloon card, you will need:

Soft Sea Foam card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Starry Sky card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 4¼” by 2¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White card

Using Soft Sea Foam ink, I randomly stamped the string of bunting down the panel of 5¼” by 3½” Basic White card. I repeated this step using Balmy Blue ink. The panel was then glued to the Starry Sky panel and then to the Soft Sea Foam card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Using the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine and Tailor-Made Dies I cut the largest tag from the

4¼” by 2¼” piece of Basic White card. I stamped the sentiment, from the Artistically Inked stamp set in Soft Sea Foam along the bottom of the tag.

I stamped the ‘confetti’ image in Soft Sea Foam a few times on the die cut tag and glued the largest balloon in position. One of the smaller balloons was tucked under the large balloon.

I looped a couple of pieces of 2022 – 2024 In-Color Twine through the hole at the top of the tag and the tag was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The Brewed for You stamp set used for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog hop where our theme is monochrome

Brewed in Monochrome card

I have used the Brewed For You stamp set to make a sweet brewed in monochrome card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the brewed in ombre card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Crumb Cake card – 5½” by 3¾”
Soft Suede card – 3⅜” by 2”
Very Vanilla card – 3” by 1½”
Gold Foil – 2” by 2”
Very Vanilla card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

I began by stamping the glass randomly all over the Crumb Cake panel in Crumb Cake ink. I wrapped some Very Vanilla Twine around the panel before it was added to the Crumb Cake card front using Mini Glue Dots. I wanted a little height but not as much as Dimensionals would give. Mini Glue Dots were the perfect compromise.

The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink at the bottom of the rectangle. The glass was then stamped above in Early Espresso ink onto the die cut vanilla rectangle and the liquid added in Soft Suede ink. I added the bubbles using the same ink.

The stamped rectangle was glued to the Soft Suede deckled rectangle. I had a Gold Foil hexagon on my desk, cut for another project using the Beautiful Shapes Dies and not used. I cut the hexagon in half and glued these to the top and bottom of the topper piece.

A beautiful card featuring the arctic bears and mountain air stamp sets by Stampin' Up! for the Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop

CASEd Bear for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop

Hello and thank you for joining me for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where we have been asked to CASE each other. CASEing means copy and share everything or copy and selectively edit and I have chosen the second version.

After a lot of research and fun looking at the blogs of my fellow demos I have chosen to CASE this card designed by Annette Elias

Annette Elias card featuring a Bear

Annette Elias card featuring a Bear

I love her style, so different from mine. I tend to go for clean and simple where Annette loves to layer and embellish. I just wish I had her talent.

Here is my simplified version of her beautiful card using 2 of my favourite bundles.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the CASEd card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 11¾” by 4⅛” scored at 5⅞”
Shaded Spruce card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Soft Suede card – 3½” by 2”
Scrap Shaded Spruce card

Using Misty Moonlight ink, I inked up the detailed mountain image and stamped it onto the panel of Basic White card. I cleaned the stamped, reversed it on my block, inked it up again and stamped it off onto scrap paper before stamping it slightly higher and off set to give the mountains some depth.

The row of trees image was then inked in Pool Party ink, turned upside down and stamped again three times without re-inking to give the illusion of water.

I added a ½” punched circle to the skyline, to mask off a moon. Using a Blending Brush, I added Balmy Blue ink to make the sky. The birds were added with Misty Moonlight ink. The stamped panel was added to the Shaded Spruce layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and then mounted on the card front using the same glue.

A sweet man and child card made using the stamp set - A Good Man and summery colours

A Good Man – man and child

The card I am sharing today features the gorgeous A Good Man stamp set. This set makes stunning masculine cards which can be adapted for any occasion.

To recreate the A Good Man card you will need;

Thick Whisper White card base 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Bird Ballard dsp 4⅛” by 3”
Old olive 2⅞” by 2⅞”
Whisper White 2¾” by 2¾”

I chose the sweet image of the child riding on the mans’ shoulders was stamped on the Whisper White square using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This image reminds me so much of when my children were small, they loved to be carried on their fathers shoulders like this.
