Leave a Little Sparkle stamp set for a gorgeous rainbow unicorn card

Rainbow Unicorn

Today I am sharing a sweet rainbow unicorn card made using the Leave a Little Sparkle stamp set with rainbow colours.

To recreate the Rainbow Unicorn card you will need:

Flirty Flamingo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right and lower left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right and lower left corner
Basic Black – 4 ¼” by 3⅞” – rounded upper right and lower left corner
Whisper White – 4” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right and lower left corner
Scrap So Saffron, Whisper White, Balmy Blue

I placed the smallest Whisper White panel in the Stamparatus after using the Embossing Buddy to remove static. The unicorn image was inked up with Versamark ink then with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it on the panel.  Clear Embossing Powder was poured over the stamped image and heat set using my Heat Tool.

I stamped one of the zigzag images from the Waterfront stamp set in rainbow order starting from the unicorns head. I used Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Balmy Blue & Highland Heather.

I stamped the sentiment from the Little Elephant stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a strip if Whisper White, flagged the end and tucked it underneath the raised panel. I flagged a strip of So Saffron and another of Balmy Blue and tucked them either side of the sentiment. I finished the card by adding a scatter of Iridescent Sequins.

I stamped the swirl from the same stamp set onto the remaining panel of Whisper White and adhered it inside the card. I used the same image to decorate the envelope.

A rainbow coloured Unicorn created using the Stamparatus by Stampin' Up!

Rainbow Unicorn – Leave a Little Sparkle

I have been playing today with the unicorn image from the Leave a Little Sparkle stamp set and rainbow  colours. Such fun! I made this card for one of the ladies coming to class next week, she loves unicorns.

To recreate the Sparkle card you will need;

Gorgeous Grape card base 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Whisper White 4⅛” by 3⅛”
Goranny Apple Green 4⅛” by ¼” x 2

I placed the smaller piece of Whisper White cardstock into the Stamparatus and placed the gorgeous unicorn image onto it, face down. The door of the Stamparatus was closed picking up the stamp.

Using Real Red ink on a Sponge Dauber I inked up the unicorn’s horn and a small part of the mane and closed the door, stamping the inked portion of the image onto the cardstock.

The next portion of the unicorn was inked in the same way using Pumpkin Pie ink and a Sponge Dauber. I repeated the same step inking up a didderent part of the unicorn and working my way down the unicorn’s body. I used Daffofil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape inks.
