A home decor piece made for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop using the Lazy Days stamp set and dies by Stampin' Up!

Lazy Days Home Decor

Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using some of the gorgeous new colours from our 2023 colour refresh. I am sharing a piece of home décor made for a friend using the Lazy Days stamp set and dies.

Colours in this project are:

To recreate the lazy days home décor piece, you will need:

23cm by 23cm picture frame – mine was a Ribba frame from Ikea
Boho Blue card – 8” by 8”
Pebbled Path – 2⅛” by 2⅛” x 7
Basic White – 2” by 2” x 7
Pebbled Path – 4⅜” by 2⅛”
Basic White – 4 ¼” by 2”
Scrap Basic White, Boho Blue, Pebbled Path, Lost Lagoon, Lemon Lolly

Using Pebbled Path ink, I stamped the wooden boards along the bottom of three of the 2” by 2” squares of Basic White card. On another of the squares I stamped the trellis in Pebbled Path ink along the top.

I used the Alphabet A La Mode dies to die cut the ENJOY letter from scrap Boho Blue.

Boho Blue Blends were used to colour in the bird houses and 2 of the birds. The lemonade in the glasses and the remaining bird were coloured using Lemon Lolly Bends. The leaves in the plant pot were coloured with Lost Lagoon and I used a Pebbled Path Blend to add some shading to the plant pot and rocking chair.

I cut the two balustrade die cuts in half giving me 4 pieces. I then began to decorate each square with all the die cut pieces, some were glued on using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, others were added using Dimensionals. The word ENJOY was glued to the rectangle below the white trellis piece.

I added some Loose Daisy Embellishments to a couple of the panels. The panels were then adhered to the 8” by 8” panel of Boho Blue card. I trimmed down the mount using my Paper Trimmer and inserted the panel into the box frame and closed up the back/

I really love it.

Please hop on to share the projects created by my fellow crafters.
