Vibrant Leaves card – Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we have been creating projects inspired by a colour challenge.  I have used the Changing Leaves stamp set to make a vibrant leaves card.

Colour used in this project are:

 

To recreate vibrant leaves card, you will need:

Daffodil Delight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Blueberry Bushel card – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Blueberry Bushel card

 

The maple leaf was stamped in Daffodil Delight ink in the upper left and lower right corners of the Daffodil Delight card front.

The same image was randomly stamped over the 4¾” by 3” piece of Basic White card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I used the following Blends Pens to colour the leaves in – Dark Fresh Freesia, Light Flirty Flamingo, Light Daffodil Delight, Light Shy Shamrock and Light Blueberry Bushel.

The coloured panel was then adhered to the Blueberry Bushel layer. A length of White Baker’s Twine was then wrapped around the layer before it was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Latte Love stamp set, was stamped in Versamark ink onto scrap Blueberry Bushel, covered with White Embossing Powder and set using a Heat Tool. I trimmed it down with Scissors and added it to the card front.

Lots of Latte Love card

Todays’ card is made using the Latte Love stamp set and dies, combined with the Bright & Beautiful and Country Lace designer series papers.

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the lots of latte love card, you will need:

Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3½”
Basic White card – 4½” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Bright & Beautiful and Country Lace dsp – 3⅜” by ½” x 9
Scrap Basic White card

 

I glued the 3⅜” by ½” strips of dsp to the 5⅛” by 3½” panel of Basic White card leaving a small gap between each piece. The panel was then glued to the Petal Pink card front.

Using the Countryside Corner Dies, I die cut a label from the 4½” by 3” piece of Basic White card.

The ‘ground’ image from the Trucking Along stamp set was stamped along the bottom of the die cut label with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The label was then glued to the card front.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped 3 mugs using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. They were coloured in using either Petal Pink. Lemon Lime Twist and Pretty Peacock Blends Pens. The coloured mugs were then added to the card front.

The sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink onto scrap Basic White card, I trimmed it down and flagged the ends before adding it to the card front.

Fluffy Cat Thank You card

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog hop where we are showcasing something we have been working on recently. I have used the new to me Fluffiest Friends stamp set to make a pretty thank you card for a cat loving friend.

Colours in this card are:

 

To recreate the fluffy cat card, you will need:

Gray Granite card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
Perennial Lavender dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White card – 2” by ½”

 

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the Perennial Lavender dsp to one of the 5½” by 3¾” panels of Basic White card. The panel was then adhered to the Gray Granite card base.

From the 3 ½” by 3 ½” piece of Basic White card I die cut a circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies. The cat and the flowers were stamped onto the die cut circle using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the image – Petal Pink, Lemon Lolly, Soft Sea Foam, Gorgeous Grape, Smoky Slate & Gray Granite.

Using 2nd generation Smoky Slate ink I stamped the clouds from the Under The Moon stamp set. The circle was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

Row of Coffee Cups – Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are saying goodbye to the 2022 – 2024 In Colors which will retire in 10days. These bright, vibrant colours have been fun to use and I will miss them, particularly Parakeet Party! I have used the Latte Love stamp set and dies to make my card.

Colours used in this card are:

 

To recreate the row of coffee cups card, you will need:

Starry Sky card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅞” by 2⅛”
Parakeet Party card – 5⅞” by ¾”
Tahitian Tide card – 5⅞” by ¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky & Pecan Pie

 

From scraps of cardstock, I die cut a mini coffee cup in Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky. I also die cut the little coffee pieces for the top of the cups from scrap Pecan Pie card.

I placed the cups on the 5⅞” by 2⅛” panel of Basic White card. I moved them around until I was happy with the layout. Each cup was then lifted up and the ‘coffee splatter’ image was stamped in the co-ordinating colour. I used 2nd generation ink. Each cup was then added on a Dimensional.

The sentiment was stamped in Starry Sky ink above the cups.

Using the Basic Borders Dies, I die cut a decorative edge from the strips of Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide card. These were then glued to the bottom of the stamped panel.

The whole piece was then glued to the Starry Sky card front using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I used the co-ordinating Blends Pens to colour in the Classic Matte Dots, one for each colour. These were then added to the card front.

Coffee Anyone?

Today I am sharing a thank you card featuring a mug of coffee made using the Latte Love stamp set and co-ordinating Dies.

Colours in this card are:

 

To recreate the coffee anyone card, you will need:

Pretty Peacock card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Stargazing dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – For the inside
Scrap Basic White card

 

The panel of Stargazing dsp was adhered to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card. A length of White Diagonal Trim was wrapped around the panel before it was adhered to the Pretty Peacock card base.

From the square of Basic White card, I die cut a Deckled Circle. A Smoky Slate Blends Pen added some colour to ground the mug before it was glued down to the circle. The circle was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
